monday - sloppy maple-bbq turkey joes and sweet potato fries baked in the oven...i know,
sounds delish right? recipe below...
tuesday - creamy
ranch pork chops and rice...a dinner the entire fam loves!
wednesday - chicken and
dumplings...one of my own personal FAV winter meals...and i love how easy it
is! i use a rotisserie chicken bought from the grocery store and that makes it
easy peasy.
thursday - fish, baked potatoes and steamed cauliflower...healthy and yummy :)
friday - chicken gyros...can't WAIT to try this one!
saturday - out to dinner with the fam
sunday - bbq chicken, cheesy
potatoes and garlic crescent rolls (for the crescent rolls i use the low fat
ones and sprinkle them with garlic powder before i roll them up...my fam loves
them)
sloppy maple-bbq turkey joes
1 lb lean ground turkey
1
tbs poultry seasoning
1 small red pepper, chopped
1 small onion,
chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup tomato sauce
1/4 cup pure maple
syrup
3 tbs soy sauce
2 tbs cider vinegar
2 tbs brown sugar
1 tbs
dijon mustard
8 whole wheat hamburger buns
in a large skillet brown
the turkey and season with poultry seasoning. cook until browned, then stir in
the pepper, onion and garlic and cook until the veggies are tender. in a bowl
stir together the tomato sauce, syrup, soy sauce, vinegar, brown sugar and
mustard. pour the sauce over the meat and simmer over medium-low heat for a few
minutes to combine the flavors. service the sloppy turkey joes on the rolls.
