He is there

today we are laying this sweet lady to rest.  this beautiful woman who meant so incredibly much in my life.  and i have to admit, i'm not sad for her.  the sadness i have is for myself, that i have to live without her in my life.  how selfish is that of me?  she is already in Glory having the most amazing reunion with all those loved ones that went before her.  what a sweet, sweet reunion i imagine that was.  she has saw more beautiful sights than we can ever imagine.  she can walk, breathe and talk perfect.  and while we are celebrating Jesus's birthday here on earth, she actually gets to celebrate it in Heaven WITH Jesus.

today i will walk in, take a deep breath, and know He is there.
in the mourning, He is there
in the suffering, He is there
in the heaviness, He is there
in the overwhelming grief, He is there
in the weeping, He is there
in the darkness, He is there
in the silence, He is there
in the raw emotions, He is there

There is a time for everything
and a season for every activity under the heavens:
a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,
a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
